Recycling or composting?

PE cups can recycle if collected in closed loop specialist recycling schemes - but it rarely happens. Most will end up in landfill or landfill diversion (Incineration). They cannot be composted

PLA cups can compost if collected for specialist industrial composting – but it rarely happens. Most will end up in landfill (where they will not compost) or landfill diversion (incineration). They cannot be recycled.

trucup® will recycle without specialist segregation. If it does not end up being recycled but landfilled, it will then decompose, in a meaningful timeframe.
